Bishop McNamara Catholic School celebrated its 100th Anniversary during the 2022-23 academic year. In August of 2016, Bishop McNamara became a regionalized school encompassing grades Pre-K – 12th. Today, Bishop McNamara has three sites: two Pre-K – Grade 5 elementary schools and a Grade 6-12 site. As Bishop McNamara begins the next century of Catholic education in the greater Kankakee community the school is seeking its next President/Principal leader. This is a multi-dimensional leadership role overseeing the high school, junior high school, and the regional system. This is an outstanding opportunity to help shape the educational experience for our high school and junior high students, faculty and staff, and families at an outstanding school within the Diocese of Joliet.

The President/Principal serves as the school’s spiritual and educational leader and is responsible for exercising independent judgement in implementing a broad collection of academic programs and activities. These responsibilities comprise spiritual development, realizing the school’s philosophy, curriculum, co-curricular activities, discipline, and personnel practices.
